Special Day

I am so incredibility proud of my sisters for being crowned "Honor Star."  After memorizing over 30 scriptures, doing a lot of activities and lessons, and completing "Honor Steps," they got to be recognized for their 3 years (Susana,Tabitha, Anna, Ruth) of completing the program.    Through this, they establish a deeper relationship with Jesus. I was once crowned an Honor Star, and I'm glad to share this connection with my sisters.

Unlikely Friendships

As I look at these unlikely animal friends, I wonder, if these animals can be friends then how much more should we be willing to reach out to our own kind; like that lonely kid at a lunch table, or that person at work who is struggling a great lost, or even someone who just needs a smile or a friend? 

Mathew 25:40 states, "The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'  

So now I challenge you to reach out of your comfort zone and to just be open to everyone to share the love of God and the grace of Jesus.  Be a part of expanding the Kingdom of God, and I promise you that you will never regret it. 

Behind each of these animal friendships is a story, and behind each one of you is a legacy waiting to be fulfilled. Don't wait any longer, start now.

God says...

Fully Rely On God

Today, we had a fun experience hiking at Rocky Ridge.  After that, we enjoyed delicious ice cream at sweetFrog.  I gazed at their wall and saw their acronym for frog, "Fully Rely On God."  Later, I thought to myself, "What does it mean to fully rely on God?"  I believe it means to fully trust God to keep his promises, without a doubt.  I know God will ALWAYS come through. I mean really, just think of the rainbow.

What An Inspiration

Everywhere you look you can see how great God is.  Whether it is in the mighty ocean, a delicate flower, or a gentle smile; God pieced together every living thing with careful thought and perfection. We are celebrating my Nana`s birthday today, and whenever I see her I see how amazing God is, and how blessed I am to know her.  God's love shines through her every day, and she inspires me to be a better person.  Thank you Nana!
